This climb from Servance via Belfahy to the Col des Chevrères can be divided into three parts. The first part runs from Servance via the D133 and is identical to the beginning of the ascent to the Chevrères via Miellin. However, after three kilometers (maximum 6%) we turn to the right towards Belfahy, which marks the beginning of the middle part. This part is not shared by the climb of this page with one of the other two climbs to the Chevrères. It is mainly due to this middle part that this climb is the hardest of the three climbs. Although this section is not very long (approx. 3.5 kilometers), the road is steep (9.7%), on average. In addition, the slope varies greatly. The steepest 250 meter section, between the first houses of Belfahy, has a gradient of 17%, which is as much as the gradient of the infamous, last and steepest 250 meters of the climb to La Planche des Belles Filles. By the way, I found this middle part to be the most beautiful section of the three climbs to the Chevrères. There is a lot of green, some meadows, the road is winding and there are farms and houses here and there. This part ends at the church of Belfahy. The last, one and a half kilometers long, part of the climb is identical to the last part of the ascent to the Chevrères from Plancher-Bas. First there is a short ramp (with a 250 meter section of 14%), which is followed by an almost horizontal section. The ride finishes with a short, steep section.
