This climb starts in Bozel and heads north to the hamlet of la Cour. The finish lies at a parking lot at the end of the paved road, about a kilometer north of la Cour. Especially over the last kilometers there are splendid views on the mountains. In a northerly direction these tend to be nearby, to the west and south they are more distant. These views are not the only reason for recommending this climb. In addition, the street is narrow and I saw hardly any cars here. Too bad that from Villemartin on the road surface is miserable, especially because it is wavy. This costs energy when climbing and does not make the descent particularly pleasant. The first 3.5 kilometers up to the beginning of the village of Villemartin are moderately steep (6-8%). In Villemartin keep right to gain height on a straight road and turn left at the end of this street. Then always follow the signs to la Cour-Mont Jovet. The section between Villemartin and la Cour (4 kilometers) is quite steep (10.5% on average). After la Cour there is one kilometer left, which is easier again (6-7%).
