The climb to the Puerto Las Señales from the village of La Uña, located on the east side of the pass, is especially recommended for those who love panoramic views. The mountains with their steep rock faces are wonderful. The ride to the pass is definitely not very hard. The steepest 500 meter segments have a gradient of 7%. It is difficult to decide where the climb begins. I chose La Uña because after this village long descending sections are missing and although the first 5.5 kilometers after La Uña run only gently (average 2.2%) upwards. The remaining six kilometers are steeper (5.4% on average). About 3 kilometers before reaching the Puerto Las Señales you cycle past the Puerto de Tarna (1488 m).
