The ascent to the Collada Trabáu from Sisterna isn't really spectacular. In a overwhelmingly green landscape the mountains are rounded, while 316 elevation meters are gained on a road that gradually becomes steeper but never very steep. The last kilometer is the steepest (8.9%). From the pass there is a nice view to the west on the valley of the Río Ibias with the eye-catching village of Degaña.
