The climb to the Collada Trabáu from the valley of the Río Ibias is short (only 3.2 kilometers) and steep. While the first 500 meters are still easy (4%), the remaining 2.7 kilometers have a gradient of 9.3%, on average. The landscape is overwhelmingly green. From the pass there is a great view in westerly direction of the valley of the Río Ibias.
