From their common beginning in Cencenighe Agordi, the climb to the Passo di Vallés and the climb to the Passo de San Pellegrino use the same road for a long distance (almost 13 kilometers). This road is very busy, so I foresaw that there would be less traffic after the turnoff to the Pellegrino. This happened though less than hoped for. In addition, the behavior of many car drivers was aggressive, so I have been cycling more pleasant ascents than this one. It should be mentioned that after the turnoff the work is hard. The first five kilometers after the fork have a slope of 9.2%, on average, without major outliers. Another steep ramp is found in the first part of the climb, after 5 kilometers of biking, shortly after the junction to Canale d'Agordo. Here the slope measures 9% during one and a half kilometers. Finally, a tunnel, just over a kilometer long and encountered shortly after the start, should be mentioned. It is not really pleasant due to the dense traffic. I heard a rumor that it is possible to cycle past outside.
