This climb to the Passo di San Antonio (also called Passo del Zovo, 539 elevation meters) is fun but contains no real highlights. With a steepest kilometer of 8.7% the road is nowhere very steep while the high mountains can only be seen in the distance. These are beautiful massifs, especially those lying in westerly and southerly directions, and best visible during the two almost horizontal kilometers starting in the village of Danta di Cadore. Danta looks great with the mountains in the background. Except for the first few hundred meters, the first four kilometers form the hardest part of the ride with a slope of about 8%. Here the road climbs up through the forest with eight hairpin bends.
