The climb to the Collado (also Puerto) de las Crucetillas
from Batán del Puerto runs mostly through a valley.
The surroundings are very beautiful and green, and
make the impression of being deserted, there is hardly any traffic
and cycling is not strenuous because the road hardly
slopes upwards (often by around 2%). Here you can enjoy the cycling.
The first and the last kilometer and a half
(the last ones even have two hairpin bends),
are slightly steeper (6%) and cross the forest.
The road surface is of poor quality (in 2023).
