The hills surrounding the Col des Fillys do not exceed 1600 m, so there is no high-mountain feeling. Hence, this pass is outside the main tourist area and it seems unlikely they you will meet other race bikers here. It is a narrow and very quiet road winding through forests and farm lands. The Col des Fillys is a small pass in terms of climbing meters (433 m). The slope is quite variable, also on small scales not revealed by the profile shown here. Also, the climb is interrupted by a descend of 50 meter. The steepest part lies before the descend. In 2013 the road was in a relatively good condition.
