Warning: the road surface of this climb from Haut du Them to Plain des Bornes is in such a bad condition that this ride is not really suitable for racing cyclists. The pavement of the climb to the same destination from Miellin, located on the other side of Plain des Bornes, is even worse if possible.

This ascent comprises only a limited number of meters in altitude (401) but it's still pretty strenuous. This is partly due to the miserable road surface but above all due to large fluctuations in the slope. The last two kilometers are particularly tough with three very steep 250 meter sections (13-14%) but still shorter sections that are even steeper. We didn't meet anyone in the second half of this climb. The destination is inconspicuous and lies in a sharp turn to the left.
