This is a short (488 elevation meters), quite popular climb over a wide, comfortable road to the ski resort of Pra Loup. My profile starts where the road to the Col d'Allos splits from the route to the Col de la Cayolle, ~2 km from Barcelonnette. The slope is quite regular and has a mean value of 6.2%, with a slightly steeper part (up to 8%) between the third and the fourth of the five hair pin turns. The tour ends in Pra Loup 1600 where the road ends with a loop that should be done up to its highest point. Despite the nice views on the Vallée de l'Ubaye and the high mountains behind it, I did not have a feeling of driving through nature due to the ski resort and the wide road.
