This ride ends at just a house (Hasenhaus; rabbit house in English) and hence does have a worthwhile destination. The road is terribly steep, so typical of the Black Forest. The first few hundred meters are not yet that bad but after that a huge effort is required. The first two and a half kilometers of the trip have an average gradient of 12.7% and the steepest kilometer in this part of the climb has a slope of 14.7%. Only when reaching a small settlement (Moosbauernhof), cycling becomes easier. Keep to the right here. After two sharp bends there is a bifurcation. Take the street to the left. The remaining 700 meters are not difficult (3-4%) and offer a wide view to the south.
