Other climbs Black Forest

This is a very varied ascent with magnificent views. First there is, from the winding road just after Riedichen, after about four kilometers of cycling, a splendid view of the Belchen, of which the summit was covered with snow when I biked here. I found the panorama before and after Gersbach, in the last four kilometers of the climb, even more impressing. Here I saw the Vosges and the Jura but also, much higher, the Alps, rugged and full of snow. What a contrast with the low mountain ranges! The ascent to the Gersbacher Schwellen is divided into three parts. On the first six kilometers the road is surrounded by forests and fields, and the slope is quite monotonous (6-8%). The second part begins where you leave the forest and turn left at a bifurcation. The next two and a half kilometers to Gersbach are easy (0-4%). In Gersbach, turn left for the final part of a kilometer and a half, which is somewhat steeper again (6-8%).
